{"id":1577,"date":"2014-10-13T10:55:00","date_gmt":"2014-10-13T08:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/141080.com\/?p=1577"},"modified":"2020-02-03T00:11:26","modified_gmt":"2020-02-02T22:11:26","slug":"usa-tag-20-sunset-crater-wupatki-national-monument-flagstaff-phoenix-2014-10-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wandernotizen.com\/en\/usa-tag-20-sunset-crater-wupatki-national-monument-flagstaff-phoenix-2014-10-15\/","title":{"rendered":"USA Tag 20: Sunset Crater, Wupatki National Monument, Flagstaff, Phoenix (2014-10-15)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>USA Tag 20: Nach einem guten Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck &#8211; die Indianer machen das wirklich gut &#8211; und dem Check Out, machten wir uns auf zum Wupatki National Monument.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Die Farben in dieser Gegend sind mega sch\u00f6n, vor allem bei dem Wetter, das wir hatten.<\/p>\n<p>Hier liegt alles auf einer H\u00f6he von etwa 2000 m, sodass die Temperaturen trotz der Sonne angenehm k\u00fchl waren.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>Wir schauten uns die alten Ruinen der Pueblos Indianer an und machten einige kurze und interessante Wanderungen. Beeindruckend war ein Blowhole, das wir entdeckten. Dort kam sch\u00f6ne k\u00fchle Luft heraus. Jenachdem, wie der Luftdruck draussen ist, bl\u00e4st die Erde hier die Luft raus bzw. zieht sie ein.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>Weiter ging es zum Sunset Crater, wo die Farben noch viel kr\u00e4ftiger und satter waren. Auf den Krater selbst durfte man leider nicht, aber die Trails entlang des Kraters waren ebenso beeindruckend. Vulkanlandschaften sind einfach sch\u00f6n.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>Anschliessend schauten wir nochmals in Flagstaff vorbei. Erstens, weil die Stadt so sch\u00f6n war und zweitens, weil es dort einen Sushi Laden gibt, der verschiedene Preise gewonnen hat. Das mussten wir nat\u00fcrlich \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen und tats\u00e4chlich, das Essen dort war vorz\u00fcglich. Gest\u00e4rkt ging es jetzt nach Phoenix, das etwa 2.5 Stunden Autofahrt von Flagstaff entfernt liegt.
