USA Day 4: What a wonder. There was a rich, American breakfast with lousy coffee. How do Americans do it? Our route today led us further south along the coast on Highway 101. On our way to Newport, Oregon Coast, we stopped in Lincoln City for our second outlet shopping spree.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

After successfully spending money, we continued on the 101 to a great stretch of beach where we dipped our feet into the cold Pacific for the first time. Countless vitamins in the form of Californian strawberries were consumed, making us fit enough for the next few days of fast food.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, we reached Yaquina Head, an old lighthouse situated on a beautiful elevation just before Newport.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After an extensive photo shoot and a great distant view, we found a wonderful hotel with a sea view, a fireplace in the room, and a private beach.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
