There are beautiful beaches on Gozo, each one more beautiful than the last. To give you a good overview of which beaches to choose for your vacation, trip, or simply your day trip, I've listed all 15 beaches here for you.
Gozo sometimes has the most beautiful beaches in Malta. One reason is that there are beautiful sandy beaches there, and another is that they are not as crowded as some beaches in Malta.
Let yourself be inspired and find your favorite beach in Gozo, surrounded by nature, with crystal-clear waters and a great location in the Mediterranean idyll. I started with the largest and also the most beautiful beach and then went clockwise around the island. Hence the order.
00. Overview and Map of Beaches on Gozo and Comino

Since Gozo is only about 14 km wide and 7 km long, 15 beaches are quite a lot. Therefore, two of these beaches were moved to Comino. You will therefore find beaches No. 14 and 15 after a short boat trip to the neighboring island. I'll start my list in the north of Gozo.
Regarding travel. Basically, you can reach all beaches in five different ways.
- By car
This is the simplest, as there is parking available near all the beaches. - By bus
Buses run from Victoria to all the beaches. It usually takes between 20 and 30 minutes. - On foot or by bike
If you start in Victoria, which is in the middle of the island, you can reach any beach on foot or by bicycle. - By taxi
There are three apps (Uber, Bolt, eCabs) with which you can order a taxi. This will take you to the beach of your choice for a few euros. - By boat
There are many places in Gozo where you can rent a boat or get around by taxi boat. While this would also get you to secluded beaches, I would only consider this option for the neighboring island of Comino.
