And off we go to the beautiful German federal capital to visit my brother 🙂 One more quick stop in Zurich, where we'll meet up at Yooji to quickly get some energy for the long flight from Basel to Berlin.
After a pleasant flight, we landed punctually in Schönefeld and were warmly welcomed by Etja and Nadja. In the next few days, we saw many great sights and did a lot of shopping. Mall of Berlin is a real shopper's paradise.
In the evening, we went for a nice dinner at Solar Berlin, with a great view over the city or a small part of the city. The food there is fantastic and the service was super friendly. In general, we noticed that people in Berlin are super friendly and accommodating. At least in the places and areas we visited.
We also saw Potsdam, together with my brother, and drove to Sanssouci Palace. In my opinion, however, there are more beautiful castles in Germany. Potsdam University was quite impressive, though. Afterwards, we went onto the Spree River and took a boat trip through the city for a while. Unfortunately, I can't tell you everything we saw because I enjoyed the boat ride so much and had my eyes closed half the time. But a few photos were taken, which you can see in the gallery 🙂
All in all, Berlin is a very exciting city. We saw a lot in the three days and will definitely come back 🙂
